And so the adventure begins !!! I left Montreal at 20:20 pm Sunday and I boarded the Lufthansa plane and headed out onto the 6000+ km flight. This is my first time on a European flight and its quite different from the flights that I usually take down south. As soon as I get to my seat I have a mini pillow, blanket and headphones waiting for me!!
I have another 7 hours before landing in Germany and dealing with the 6 hour layover time in Munich before heading out to Torino.
I had mixed emotions while getting on the plane. I was a little emtional as I kissed my dad, bestie, and godchild goodbye, I took a deep breath and said "yeah I could do this". So I then took that first step and walked towards my gate feeling proud and super excited for whatever adventure that will lie ahead.
When I land in Munich I grab a quick bite to eat and wait in the airport for the 6 hour long layover. I notice that the airline has what is called a service center which provides FREE warm beverages for customers who fly with them. They also have a few computer stations, which is great if you don't have a tablet, smartphone, or laptop!!
Freebies are always great while youre trying to save money while travelling. I was able to find 3 so far!!
UPDATE: There currently seems to be a delay with the connection flight... Seems like I'm stuck in Munich for another 2 hours....
I'll keep you posted!! In the mean time thank you so much for checking out my page, and please continue to share!!
